The project started developement on the PC and where later ported to the PSP, the project was nominated best handheld game at the swedish game awards 2011.

The game will be released on playstation network in July

My contribution

Game designer
During this project I had the title game designer, at the start of the project I worked on the gameplay together with the producer and the other designer, we reworked the gameplay alot in the beginning till we found a gameplay we where happy with. I was also part of writing the design document.

Level designer
Later in the project I shifted more towards level design. I used XML files to design 79 of the 80 levels in the game. This involved placing backdrops, objects, enemies and traps.

Gameplay balancer

As the project neared completion and became more and more playable I did alot of playtesting and balance tweaking. This involved making sure each level could be completed at the best time to achieve 100% completion, adjusting damage and hitpoints on enemies and the player.


Short description

Ambassador Kane is an puzzle game with a twist. The player have to build a path for the ambassador using different robots. The player have no direct control of Kane, he moves through the level and follows your constructions where he can, so the player must lead him through the level and avoid different hazards. The game mixes puzzle and spinning plates to keep the player on his toes while forcing him to always think one step ahead.
